Ok, more than 1 post tonight. This is a medallion I beaded for a friend of mine. He's in the antelope patrol for woodbadge in scouting. Living in the Midwest, we got no antelopes out here. So, I decided to make him something w/an antelope. It took some time, but the results are beautiful, and very well received and appreciated. Photos are partially finished, and then finished.
As you can see, my holding it gives you an idea of the detail and size beads(seed beads, size 11) I used. This is a traditional craft my mom taught me. In fact, most of the beads I used for this project are from my mom's beads - which I inherited after her passing.
