Past projects of 2010...

stamped, then colored - plain marker
This is a simple card - just stamped and coloring the image.  One of my favorite large stamps, there is more you can do with it, but I just wanted to color.

stamping on acrylic - using staz-on ink, added stamped image and ribbon
This is stamping on acrylic, it's kind of tricky - using the staz-on will stain a stamp, but if you clean it immediately, it may not stain.  Also, on the acrylic it will slide around, so practice on a piece first. It also takes a few minutes to dry. I used glue dots and lined up the paper images, looks cleaner when the card is closed.

a window card - stamped on acrylic
Another card with the image on acrylic(I like doing this), but the image took a few stampings before I did one without smudging it.  Any suggestions?

a project I saw in "Better Homes and Gardens" magazine this fall - foam, candy corn, duct tape, and a glue gun.
Ahhh....my fall project! I saw this in the magazine and thought I'd try it - it was a bit tedious, but the end product was very cool.  Also a use for candy corn if you don't care to eat it but want a festive look in the house - or on the table.  I ended up using these 2 pieces as a centerpiece, then gave my sister the wreath:) She hung it with a wide ribbon.

  1. Hi Iona! I found you on SCS and thought I'd visit. I like your acetate cards! Yes, they are tricky to make but so much fun! Look forward to visiting again soon and seeing more of your creations! Happy New Year
